WEI table is no longer in "Quick Links"

Are you using the updated skin. The Wei Table is in the links.

Look at the Styles section in the bottom left of the page and change to the style 'Tech Two'.

I'm using the old skin. I'm gonna try out the new one for a few days and see how I like it. I've never even looked at it until just now.

As Colin pointed out, it's in the new skin. I'm leaving modifications to the default skin to Mike, for now. If he asks me to, I'll likely make some changes there, too, though.

Considering I absolutely hate the new skin, there's no reason to change the old skin. I can't use the Wei Table describe inn the sticky because it's not available while posting.

But, who cares what I think. I'll just use the WEI table as I've always done.

You can use the Wei table as described. The [wei][/wei] tags work in all skins. So... that's how you can use it.

The only thing that the old skin doesn't have is a link to that thread in the Quick Links. That's all.

Apparently I wasn't clear. I can't use the quick link, since it's not there, and I can't use the Wei Table that's in the Sticky, because it's not there when posting. You can use the Wei Table that's in the the Sticky before you post.

Right... so bookmark it. Then hit copy and use the [wei][/wei] codes to embed it where you need to.

I guess I'm not clear enough. I'm not asking you what the easiest way is for me to use the Wei Table. Nor am I asking how to imbed a Wei image. But, thanks for the suggestion in case other people haven't bookmarked the Wei table yet.

The post (by Hal) was to address the fact that the Wei table is no longer available as a quick link and my follow up post was to address the fact that it has been changed for no good reason from the "old skin."

Can that be addressed, or is it simply done and over with? Is the quick link in the old skin no longer going to be availalbe and why not?

So until both of those rather simple conditions are met, bookmark the page and be done with it. I don't think it merits continued prompting, discussion, etc.

I'm sorry neither of you like the new skin. Many do, and it's what I've been working on. Until Mike gives the OK to touch the old skin too, I'm staying hands-off on that one.

I'm sorry. I don't know you. My remarks were for AZhousepro or Mr. Wilson. All I'm asking is that the WEI link be put pack into the old skin. It was in the "Quick Links" pull down menu (under 'Miscellanneous') next to "Search".
No one is asking you to "touch the old skin". We're asking Mike or Mr. Wilson to touch the old skin.

It was under the Quick Links. And it's been there for ... a year or more now??? Somebody must have "touched the old skin" to take it off the quick links. It was there until just recently.

I don't care about the new skin, nor am I asking about it, so that shouldn't be any of your concern, nor should you feel defensive about it. I only want the WEI quick link back on the old skin. Why is this discussion even happening?

If you have nothing to do with the old skin, you have no reason to continue your end of the discussion. Of course we have a reason to continue prompting and discussing. Somebody out there has answers for us. If it's not you (which it has been apparent that it is not), then you shouldn't feel compelled to argue your case. You have no case if you have nothing to do with the old skin.

Hal, I would love to help with the links, however, when it comes to tinkering with the VB code, Mike is the one who does that. I do not have that ability.

Eric does have the ability, but he has not been asked by Mike to perform this.
He's said he would do it if Mike asks him though.

All we need is a little patience and time.

We are making steady progress.

I added it in the navbar template. Mike knows how to revert if he really wants to... but it's such a small change I just went ahead and did it.
