The last 2 is the 9 ball and whatever other ball is left on the table. You must shoot in this other ball to get the win. This is not much weight at all for good players. I've heard many top players say "If I can't give em the last 2, I can't beat em even".
Here are some other weight examples

laying 9 ball
the 8 = slop in the 8 any time and you win
call 8 = make the 8 on a called shot to win
last 3 = the 9 and 2 other balls on the table, sink the first of these 3 to win
the 7 = slop the 7 in and get the win
call 7 = make the 7 on a called shot to win
7 out = make the 7,8 or 9 on any shot to win
call 7 out = have to call the 7, 8 or 9 to win
call 6 = make the 6 and win
6 out = make the 6, 7, 8 or 9 and win
call 6 out = make the 6, 7, 8 or 9 on a called shot to win
orange crush = the break and the 5 out = make the 5,6,7 8 or 9 and win the game
If you need more than the orange crush you need a doctor LOL
You can add the break to any of the above weight examples to get more of an advantage. Taking the break away from a player rated A or higher is huge. He can't put multiple racks together while you sit helpless in your chair. Vice vers, giving the break to a D player is no big deal, he probably won't get shape on the 1 ball even if he makes a ball on the break.
Hope this helps.
