Snooker star fouls in very unusual way as bemused onlookers say 'that's wild'

Snooker is usually one of the more predictable sports, but poor David Lilley found himself accidentally committing one of the more unusual fouls in the sport

Yes, and it plays fine for me. That's the risk of carrying your chalk in your waistcoat pocket on the same side as your stroking arm.

One of the downsides of round chalk is that it rolls. I imagine that if it dropped on the nose of the cushion it could roll clear across the table. Mine keeps rolling out of sight when I drop it on the floor.

Ugh. I just bought a Peradon chalk pouch, which I've been trying out.

I have a chalk pouch for my green Master chalk for my break cue, but I keep my Taom in my back pocket. Haven't had any issues with dropping my Taom and rolling off from me.

I've been working on a solution/waistcoat alternative (as a bit of fun) - sourcing materials and designing some bits atm
I keep a Taom in my pocket (whether pool or snooker), and leave the chalk I use for my break cue when playing pool on the tables edge.

Round chalk isn't new. I've seen some pretty old round chalk , older than me (41) .
