Notice the high tech 2 speed power feed, lol. It required some engineering, but I pulled it off, lol.

How long is it between centers. I have a Sherline for tips and it is very short.

Is the spindle bore big enough for the shaft? As far as I know the standard sherline spindle bore is 9-10mm only. I have thought about using it for tips and ferrule but could not get the spindle bore big enough for the shaft. Care to share some pics/specs?

Thanks.

Frank.

Im not real sure how much room is between centers, but its got a 47 inch bed. Im going to upgrade it to cnc here pretty soon so it will be a bit more high tech than a cordless drill/power feed, lol. Hey it actually works pretty good though.

They make a larger spindle bore, up to 9/16 that will work, but you wont have much room to spare.
