Well this cue maker finally retired, kind of

I know exactly who you're talking about, one of the greatest cue makers of all time. No one named here came even close to this man imo. His legacy will be around as long as there are people making cues!

He's not exactly quitting entirely, if you read carefully what he said above. He's just cutting back his production and focusing only on high dollar cues, which I"m certain there will remain a demand for.

Thank you friend. And your right, none of the names mentioned thus far are even close. I guess those in the know are in the know. :-)

I have a book that you would really enjoy....no charge...I’ll pay shipping...

...but first you’ll have to answer a few questions......

My first thought when reading this was Bob Frey, as I was thinking the description fit what's going on with him. Then I remembered that it was no secret, as I along with others discussed this on here some time ago. My next thought automatically went to BB. Then a comment about Black gold kinda backed that up for me. Then someone mentioned Ernie, which had not even crossed my mind. After thinking about Ernie, I know he said he would not be producing ANY more cues with IV in them so began wondering if his cues would bring $10k+ even without the IV??? I guess they may ??? Lol. Then I started thinking about BB again but it popped in ,your head aren't all the cues he's been making for a long time now bring $10k+ anyway? So, basically I HAVE NO IDEAR LOL LOL . Wish someone would tell us though, hate these guessing games and as others said - other than to get a rise and stir the proverbial pot this thread is absolutely useless.

The OP of this thread needs to retire from AZB for tossing a grenade and watching it go off
