So, here is a question for the local players that were there.

Last year, there was very little support from the players for the events. This year is looking much better. What is the difference? The added money? The rooms involved?

Well, if Rude Dog can come back and play again after the beating he took I suppose I can play in the next tournament. Hah!

What I didn't understand was why Terry let me get ahead 6-2 just to come back and crush me like that? Wait a minute, I just figured it out....................he was doing me a favor, yeah, that's it, a favor, cuz he wanted to show me just how bad I do play these days. Thanks Terry, I take back all the bad things I said about you as I was walking out the door. J/K, of course, I ain't taking back nuttin I said!

Mike, since that was the first tournament of the series that I have played, I gotta say that it was much better than the 1 and only one I played last year. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it last year too but with the amount of players we had this past week, compared to the last event I played, it was probably triple the amount. It was well organized, as usual, and the room was great. My wife took several pictures of the cool art work on the walls with the balls smashing through, and the one with the cue smashing through the CB. She had a great time and to be honest, that's all that matters to me these days. Well, winning is a close 2nd though. I'm going to try my best to be at next months event Mike, but this time I plan on bringing my "A" game. If I could only remember where I left it

We all pitched in $10 to bribe Mike to keep you out. *whew* It's bad enough losing to a guy that lost to a girl, but had I gotten beat by a poker player I might have REALLY quit for good.

I probably don't have to say this, but I know some people in this forum struggle to see sarcasm at times so ... before people start thinking I'm a chauvinist, I was totally kidding about the "lost to a girl" thing. Terry is the guy that beat me and Angel Paglia beat him afterward. I didn't see any of her matches because I was also playing but, from what I understand, she played real well and finished 5th/6th.
