Well Willie did it again... the ugly truth about the grudge match

Unfortunately for the members of the AZB room, breakup DID show up for the event. After downing several unspecified bottles of medication, and multiple beers his behavior improved to the point where the match could actually begin.

Grady Mathews did the introductions, and served as referee the first few racks (see mthornto's video). He also put up a prize for high run during the match (won by me with a stellar 13 ball run - which of course would have been 113 if I had had a more congenial opponent). The evil breakup dashed out to an early 27 ball lead, but a few tough racks later (unfortunately not caught on film), I was able to catch up, and developed a comfortable lead (70-60).

Once the cinematographer and referee left the venue, however, breakup's behavior quickly deteriorated. He was twitching, jerking, drooling; and continued to make vague references to Jodie Foster and her great admiration for him. He was chewing on an unusual chunk of something (??walrus blubber??, ??marmot jerky??). When he borrowed my cue extension, he left an enormous amount of grease on my extension, which then transferred to my cue. I had to quit the match in protest. No one could be expected to continue under those conditions.

I removed the stake from the light (1000 jellybeans apiece), and later counted the prize. As I expected, breakup welshed on his bet; only 997 jellybeans were present in his stash - a warning to any of you foolish enough to wager with this seriously disturbed individual.

Here are some pictures:

Once again Williebetmore has displayed his true character and is in full view for all to see.

The single most important point about the match that took place is...

I am not three jellybeans short on my end!! ...he stole 997 jellybeans from me off the light!!!

As soon as he had a minuscule lead he fabricated some flimsy reason to protest and unscrewed, quitting in mid game. I did not for forfeit!!!

I left the room momentarily only to return and see NO WILLIE AND NO JELLYBEANS !!!!!!!!!!!

To accurately describe the events that transpired here is the “raw data” of the match

#1 -we agreed to play a match to 100 points 14.1

#2 -we each posted the required amount on the light.

#3 -I had a commanding lead most of the match

#4 -at one point The score indicated Willie seized a minuscule lead (he did spend way too much time near the score sheet though. This “comeback” if you will, happened after Grady left. When we had Grady as referee I was pounding him, strikes me funny)

#5 -I used a piece of equipment left laying around.

#6 -Willie cried like a little girl and quit in protest.

#7 - I did not forfeit, the game was unfinished.. We mutually agreed to quit ( my meds were wearing off and as anyone that has been around Willie can attest you need to have something to take the edge off)

#8 -I left the room briefly. When I returned and went to reclaim my jellybeans they were gone as was Willie.

Sticky fingers Betmore

Last year it was the drawing and this year is the disappearing Jellybeans off the light.

What’s next?

Now I'm not so sure I want to go to Willies to play some pool, I may come up missing in action if I start winning. HA HA!!!!! Just kidding Willie. I can't imagine this story to be all truthful. I know grudge matches can influence our decision making process and cause us to temporarily step over the line. But if any of this is true, I would say it's too bad. You should never turn your back in the middle of a grudge match, much less leave the room. Sorry Breakup, but as an innocent bystander, I have to say you asked for it by walking out of the room. breakdown,
You ask, "what's next?"; the answer should be a well-paid goon to go medieval on your a$$ (of course, the cost could be considerable as he would have to be well compensated for the difficulty in telling the ends apart).

As for your assertion that the match was not over, I can only say, "Hahhh!!" Had the referee still been present I'm sure I could have paid him.....errr.....convinced him to see my side of it. You were clearly in the wrong for damaging my valuable equipment with marmot grease.

Just because you made a couple of balls (to the absolute amazement of all who observed your pathetic excuse for a stroke) early in the match, doesn't help your case. You were behind at the end, and you should be thanking me for putting an end to what would have been a rout - hell, you should have just resigned the game when you lost the lag.

In addition, I should point out that your assertion that you "left the room briefly" is not the way most people would describe your hour-long hiatus of heroin shooting, booze chugging, glue sniffing, and coke snorting. The only proceeding you would have been fit to participate in by then would have been an arraignment. You are VERY lucky that the police didn't arrive until shortly after you left (I deny calling them...and no you can't view my cell phone records).

Anyway, I have the jellybeans (possession is of course 9 points of the law); and you'll have to post again if you want any of it back. But don't try to welsh on the bet the next time; get someone to help you count.

I hope you can now see the error of your interpretation. I will accept your humble apology.

Seems to me the only thing straight in either one of these stories might have been the pool cues.

And once again I wonder about the wisdom of living between these two characters.

Just like living between the USSR and America, when missiles collide the sh)t falls in the middle.

I hear you SGM Willie “Driveby” Betmore’s uncoordinated, unplanned, knee-jerk attacks can reek havoc on innocent bystanders.

Think of Willie as the scud missile in the battle of wits.

Crap! I was under the impression that Howie Cheatam has persuaded you take the fifth, he should have.

Buried under a mountain of nonsensical accusations can be found your confessions that illustrate the truth.

Here are quotes from various posts of yours regarding the match

…Of course, since the match was ended prematurely…

…You were behind at the end…

… I have the jellybeans…

… I have the jellybeans…

… I have the jellybeans…

… I have the jellybeans…

… I have the jellybeans…

Apologies will be neither humble nor forthcoming.

breakup,
Think of yourself as the "unarmed man" in the battle of wits.

P.S. - You may want to check those brakes before driving; I hope your insurance is paid up.

P.P.S. - Useful information for other forum members. How do you get breakup off your front porch???.........Pay for your pizza.
