I'm looking at a Wes Hunter cue, and have a question. On the butt plate is HC but under that is 02. Is this the year the cue was made? I don't see the numbers under the makers mark on most of his cues. Thanks in advance.

I'm not seeing his makers mark or #'s.... must be that they are turned around?

He quit putting the number on them. Not sure what year. A friend had one made in about 2010 and it just had the HC.

Howdy All;

Judging from the one I had made in 2020 the 05007 is the ser. # for the Bottom one.
So, the 02? might want to ask the maker himself. Mine was marked on the facings of
the joint, both butt and shafts. Only the script initials for HCC are on the butt cap.
