There's been many other cuemaker threads, so I figured I'd start a Wes Hunter thread. I'm sure there won't be many posts, but here it is anyway .

How do you tell if your cue is cored?

Beautiful cue Moose. Wes is definitely popular in NM and TX. Not much outside of that region though, which is too bad. He makes an excellent cue.

I believe it is cored. Basically Ebony and Ivory with Holly veneers outlining the points. All the white is ivory. I gave Wes the design I was looking for and he worked his magic. It originally had a white with double black speck linen wrap that I got rewrapped with black stacked leather in Vegas this year.

Look down the joint thread and see if you see any maple or other cored wood.

Then I guess mine is not cored. The joint pin is screwed into ebony.
