There is no best tip. Only the tip that works best for you. :smile:

As you can imagine, a question like that is very common on a billiards/pool board like this.
Not only that, but you'll never get a definitive answer to a subjective question like that. People have different preferances on tip brands as well as tip hardness / softness
Ask your friends if you can test-hit with their setups and when you like the feel, ask them what tip they are using.

Exactly. I went through alot of suggestions(tips) and dollars looking for the perfect tip untill I found the one I liked which is a Dudley tip(milk dud) from Meullers. You just have to try some out before you find that one that complements your stroke. Your stroke is where it's at. Good luck. RonTramp Steamer said:
i have a kamui black med/hard on my custom shaft that hits great, but on my ob1 shaft the kamui black seems to miscue a lot. im thinking about putting a moori med/soft on it to try it out. you just have to test them all i've spent hundreds of dollars trying to find one that works good for my stroke. just preference
If I had to pick the best tip for the money I'd pick a Triangle. They have never let me down even when I trade them out for Kamui's for awhile. No matter what I try I usually go back to Triangle tips.
