Not necessarily a pool hall (but of course that's fine), my buddy moved there and hasn’t “found a place where the players are”

there are GCs in dc, but all in sports bars.

Best places in VA are Springfield fast eddies, first break in sterling.

Not sure about MD these days, but Big Daddy's is a fine spot too.

Recently stopped at Fast eddies in Springfield VA ( 20 - 30.min east). Tables
needed help but several players there including Brian Deska.

Try Buffalo billiards dupont cirle.
Try first break cafe Sterling Virginia
Try fast eddies Springfield Virginia
Try bedrock billiards Adam's morgan

I haven't been to these in awhile but last i heard there are players at these.

Also big daddies glen burnie maryland.

Try first break cafe Sterling Virginia

I would also consider Breakers in Herndon, VA (clock tower on 4th floor).
Not far from First Break.
GC Tables are being updated with new cushions and blue felt.
There is a separate area for smokers upstairs in a controlled room if you smoke.

I agree on Fast Eddie's in Springfield. Good place. Also the Cue Cafe in Annandale is a really friendly place but if there is any action there, it is discreet. Both have GC's. New to the DC area myself and haven't had time to check out any others.
