This is an interesting stat to me, as it indicates how much other forum members value your posts here, on average. The data is on your profile page.

Mine is currently 799 Messages and 600 Reaction Score, for a percentage of 75%.

As a point of comparison, justnum is at 18,123 messages and 1,986 reaction score, for a percentage of 11%.

I’m sure there are members higher than 75% - can anyone find them?

I just started posting and my reaction percentage is high because I only have a few post. As of today 75 post with 84 reaction score.

It's been a labor of "love." 😉
That data's a lie!

It is fear!

Honestly, I have no idea. 🤷
I googled it - very thorough explanation from XenForo here:

By default, XenForo assigns neutral scores to the ostensibly negative reactions sad and angry.

But forum admins can change the reactions and scores for each if they want to.

I wish we had a Confused Face reaction, that was neutral. And Angry should probably be negative.

My sample size is small and as I post more my reaction score will go down.

To post over 31 thousand times and have a reaction score the exceeds your post must mean your post are excellent!
I try to post various content. There are a few members with far higher post counts than myself.
😎

@j2pac
there may be members with higher post counts but few who post content that generates so many (y)or😍
just sayin....;)

I just want to point out that reaction scores are relatively new so longer term members had a lot of posts that people couldn’t ‘react to’ when they were posted. I have 14,000 posts and 5,000 reactions (roughly). - I don’t know how many of those posts were after the change.

The question is whether to favor quality over quantity, or vice versa. Not to offend anyone, but what does it really matter how many posts one makes if they lack real merit? Consider whether one of Hu's or Jay's (or any of our other great correspondents') thoughtful and informative posts should be afforded the same value as the many "GLWS" posts. I pointed out this "problem" to Mike Howerton some time back after noticing that AZB recognized "Most Messages" and "Highest Reaction Score" without any correlation between the two. I don't recall if he responded (he usually does) or what his response was. Some of the data slaves on here should comment on how validity might be brought into this analysis. My unscientific appraisal was that such an analysis, especially if refined, should encourage a higher level of discourse. Then again, we all know what is said about "beauty".
