What’s your Reaction Score to Message Count % here?

I just want to point out that reaction scores are relatively new so longer term members had a lot of posts that people couldn’t ‘react to’ when they were posted. I have 14,000 posts and 5,000 reactions (roughly). - I don’t know how many of those posts were after the change.
Yes, we had rartng score before (reputation?) and it only went so high...a lot of us maxed out there, obviously due to a severe infection of awesomeness.

This is an interesting stat to me, as it indicates how much other forum members value your posts here, on average. The data is on your profile page.

Mine is currently 799 Messages and 600 Reaction Score, for a percentage of 75%.

As a point of comparison, justnum is at 18,123 messages and 1,986 reaction score, for a percentage of 11%.

I’m sure there are members higher than 75% - can anyone find them?

They love me , they love me not, love me ,love me not, who cares
All I know is I have $500.00 sportsbook cash, where can I pick that up , please? Baby needs some new choos'

I checked and for tonight it looks like my number is 16235. I dont know if its based on a recent calculation the average since the last analytic.

Whatever the case I am ok with the 800 times I post each night. It is not about the points, it was about proving myself at the pro level regardless of pay. It was always about being ready to shoot.

If anyone is looking for practice partners, I stream and provide group starting points.

Wow, it has been about ten years since anyone suggested that reaction score is even relevant to who the best posters are on our forum. Reaction score is, at best, nearly meaningless and is probably completely meaningless.

Jay Helfert, who gets my vote for the best poster on this forum, is under 30%. Bob Jewett, another superstar in these AZB parts, is under 50%. Case closed.

Many great members here are contributing.
Bob is near the top of the heap.

AtLarge is another invaluable member who does not get the “atta boys” that is deserved.

Even though my "reaction score" is "high," I've never thought of it in terms of an indicator of "best" anything. I think it measures something...I just don't know what that would be. Could be a traffic driving indicator, a Chinese social credit score...who knows? I would say that Jay and Bob are certainly worthy contenders for the title.

Mrs. Biloxi Boy, a retired psych prof who taught statistics, has tried to teach me this stuff for years, and I still don't understand it. I do know enough about it to know that the gathering of raw data is only the beginning and then all sorts of scientific and mathematical mumbo jumbo must be brought to bear.

Mrs. BB is presently away doing serious mall time, but when she returns, I'll ask that she weigh in. Meanwhile, someone in the AZB crew must have a similar experience and can save me from once again having to sit through the "I don't know why you don't understand . . ." lecture. Anyone?

What more is there to understand? We’re just dividing the number of Likes, Loves, and Ha Ha’s you’ve received on comments or posts by the total number of comments and posts you’ve made, which gives a % score that indicates how well-received your content was, on average.

Although if long-term members are at a disadvantage due to there not being a response feature at one time in the forum’s history, while their total post count is still counting prior to that new feature, then it’s pretty meaningless for anyone here prior to that date.
