What 96' number cue was Jerry Franklin's Last.....

does anyone have this info......

also does anyone know up to what number cue actually had some work done by Jerry then finished after his passing.........

There were a few in the works at the time of his passing. I can't remember the # sequence but I think it was around 420 (might be wrong, been a while since I had that discussion).
It has kind of been a mystery as to which cue it actually was due to obvious reasons.

If I am not mistaken, a member of the forum has the cue that he recognizes as the "last" cue. Maybe the member will chime in.

i thought it was a little earlier than 420.....possibly in the mid/late 300's....

The question has a terrible answer from my point of view. Nothing mystical at all. The fact is that Jerry injured himself like a year prior to his passing, so basically no cues in the last year had his hands on it. He had already relegated himself to finish work, but the injury kept him from that as well. So, I'd say the last one was in '95.

We can make guesses as to what the last completed cue was when he passed. The numbers start the year at 300. If they make about 200 a year, and he passed in May, then we can guess it's right around 375-380.

Consider that since they work on several at a time, then a range would be the best guess, in my opinion. There are people on the net that claim they have the last one. Unless Laurie says it is, then it probably isn't.

You and Fred are surely right......I couldn't remember since the last time this was brought up.

i've got 36196 and was told it was the 9th last cue he made. But I have not contacted Laurie to verify this.

I'm just guessing, too. I've met a handful of people who tell me that there's was received or finished in May '96, and those numbers are right in the ballpark.
