I was just rewatching the final between FSR and Robbie and I was thinking. This is the first time pool has been on espn in say 25 years, and even then it was reruns of old matches and THIS is the match. Couldn't have been better unless it was Shane and Earl...

Good coincidence too that it was a 13-12 match.

The most anticlimactic thing would have been for it to be something like a 13-3 blowout that was lopsided, while not being a good enough performance (like that of Ko Ping Chung in 2023) to be historic.

yes, so in that sense, it was a good thing that the end of the match was switched to another espn channel

it took too long, you knew when it was 5-5 that it would go hill hill, and if it was win by 2, it’d gone another hour +
