What Airport?

I have been playing around here for a few years. Not real long. I'm 27. Pool is kinda a 21 and older sport although I came out a lil before then.

Did anyone see a mention of what kind of tables they are using for the amateur events. I know they are 7 foot, just hoping they are diamonds?

Hobby is the closest, but doesn't offer service for all carriers.

Personally, I would recommend you fly Southwest Airlines into Hobby Airport. They are cheap and have lots of flights in and out.

Get a rental car at Hobby and hit Interstate 45 south. From I-45 south, exit 61st Street. Right on 61st Street and again on Seawall Boulevard. Right on 81st Street to Jones Road. Left on Hope Boulevard to Moody Gardens.

Every Table at The World Classic is a Diamond with Pro Cut Pockets. The "amateur" (everyone not in the top 128 of the BCA points list) will play on 7ft coin op tables. The Pro events will be on 9ft Tables with no coins. There will be both Coin Op 9fts and Pro Ams with no coin op. All tables will have Simonis 860 Tournament Blue cloth, Super Aramith balls with red circle cue balls.

Well damn, ticket prices are double today from what they were yesterday. I have been waiting for this guy to get back to me about the length of the Ladies 8 ball event... unless they drop again, it won't matter now.

That answer is that they wouldn't know how long that event is going to last because the length of that event will depend upon how many women play in this event.

As the event date looms closer, each minute of the day will be stretched to the max for the promoters and all of their personnel.

For those of you who are trying to get information, use the telephone and don't wait for them to get back to you. Call them back when you don't receive a phone call in due time. If all else fails, give me a shout and I will try to stick my nose in your business. ;)

Just tryin' to help.

You could just go to the tournament and if you go deep, just pay the hundred or so bucks for a change in flight schedule.
