Well if you Play a few hours every week, bein a member would deff have benifits!

The poolhall I play in costs $4 an hour, any day, any time, per person. That's for 8 & 9 foot Olhausen tables. They also have 18 barboxes for a dollar or 6 games for $5. When I played in Maryland in the 90's it was almost three times that.

Supply and Demand?

Doesn't the law of supply and demand come into play? Around here (Twin Cities, MN) we lost 4 pool rooms in 2008 and those remaining are slow except for league play. Lately pool rooms have not been filling up pool tables on nights and weekends so wouldn't lower rates be good for long term business? Get people in to play and get hooked on pool for years. Raise rates when demand becomes higher.

P.S. Check out our tournament Labor Day Weekend, where $10 gets you unlimited play for 4 days: http://www.shootingstarclassic.com
