What consitutes the title Cue Maker.

You captured my sentiment exactly!

I didn't start this hobby with the idea of selling cues....I just wanted to make cues for myself. Well, with each cue I made, I wanted to try something different on the next one and eventually I ran out of places to put the cues I'd made. I figured, if I could sell some of them, I could afford to buy more materials, tooling and machinery. So far I've been lucky. With the exception of my playing cue, I've sold everything I've made. I haven't made any money, but it's nice having other people helping to pay for my hobby :p

That's pretty much how It went for me too, and I would probably be My biggest, if not only collector, and hoard them all, if It were'nt for the fact I need funds for machinery, parts, and materials.:D I do need to start letting more of them go, and taking on more orders though, that's why I finally decided to set up to spray a better clearcote. I have people I have been holding off for quite a while, because I wasn't completely happy with the finishes I was using, and now maybe I'll get alittle bit more piece of mind in that area.:)

Yeah It's strange, but It doesn't matter, It could be the ugliest cue I've built, and people will still try to talk me into selling It.:p

never made any money
