What cue does Troy Frank use?

Troy was an unknown world beater in Ohio playing with a simple 6 point Kersenbrock.

As a pro, at one point, he was playing his best pool with one of Mike Capone's cues. I approached him at the US Open a few years ago..he was playing like a contender and, in fact, went deep into the field. At that time he was using a Capone and loving it.

I have not seen him play with anything since then, but Kersenbrock and Capone are cues he likes.
 
Not entirely sure, but he might be retired and playing with a Wallabushka right about now. I hear the good ones are extremely rare.

simple 6 point kersenbrock?
 
I think it was an exotic forearm with maple points. DPK's work was highly sought after in the mid 80's. I met Troy in Akron and that was the cue he used. I remember trading my Kersenbrock for a fancy Joss back then. I called his cue simple because it had no fancy inlays or flash. I realize today, any of David's cues will command attention. Simple may not have been the best choice of words.

The last time I saw him play in person was in Chicago at the 2005 Viking Tour Finals at Palace Billiards that Neils Feijen ended up winning. At that time he played the whole tournament with only 1 cue... a Cuetec!!! Troy finished 2nd :)
