what cue for $2000-$3000?

If I were able to spend that kind of cash on a pool cue,

Would probably do alot of searching around and try to find a Meucci Original Chess Cue or the "crown Jewel"

i would call bob owen in witchita kansas and custom order exactly what i wanted

his cues play great, feature great workmanship, the very best material and his servive is second to none

you can get a fancy looking cue,it will be new,and the play is good enough for jeremy jones, silver ochoa and gabe owen, who plays better or higher than these3

i love the cues and rate them at the top

Richard Black - for best ROI

If you only had that much to spend and was looking for the best ROI - buy a Richard Black and hold on to it. He is easily the best, most under-appreciated cue maker of our time. After that anyone else is fine.

Bobby Hunter, a couple of years made a cue for the BCA national tournament, all I can say is wow!

Richard Black, I have had several of his cues and I'm still kicking myself for letting them go, but when times get rough, you sell what will bring in the cash!

Richard CHUDY, his designs are great and they still play great!

TS cues great hitting cues.

I could go on and on and there are other places you should check, like cornerstone (Bill) will work with you just like some of the others.

say you got that much money burning a hole in your pocket..and heck, it is xmas time (can i say xmas?) ..from what i see a used cue on this forum seems safe, so, what cue would you buy for the "hit" and looks?

Lots of great cuemakers to choose from in that price range. What type of hit do you like? What type of look do you like? Will it be your player, or an investment to sell for a profit later? What pin is your favorite? What woods speak to you? Do you want it to have inlay work? If your looking for a cue on the forum, there are plenty. I would choose the ones you like, and then narrow it down with the help of the members. Your going to get a lot of diffrent opinions on cues. Ultimately its your choice. Best of luck!

just saying

for that money you can get a Runde that plays as good as any IMO especially the short SSjoint or short Ivory joint and have $ for a case and break cue .
