what cues do cuemakers collect?

I often see the cuemakers displaying their amazing work in this forum and I love it.

Do cuemakers collect cues from other current cuemakers? If so, who are the other cuemakers and can we see pictures?????
 
In the last year I've had 2 espiritus, sugartree, Dishaw and a prewitt. The only one I have left is an espiritu. I would love to collect but I always end up selling the cues so I can buy more cue building supplies or equipment. And I always end up regretting selling the cues later on.
 
Cuemakers collect their own rejects and fkk-ups.
It's not a good thing when the collection becomes extensive.
Some have heavily inlayed broom handles and toilet plungers.
Or jump handles with ivory joints and inlays. :eek:

I like classic 90's ones but for every cue is an equipment in the shop.
 
I have heard of a few cuemakers that will build a cue for each other or/wife/child. Like John Showman / Ron Haley they have similar market value and production.
 
I know that Chris Hightower only collects Hall of Fame cuemakers cues.

I want to start collecting again but money needs to go to supplies and equipment improvement.
