what cues use a 5/16-14 pin?

Have a shaft made for a Joss butt. Looking for a new butt to put it on.
Here's who I know of:
Schon
Joss
Balabushka
Jacoby
Meucci
Josswest
Falcon
And the one I'm not so sure of is Pechauer. I heard they fit...?
 
Meucci is definitely 5/16-18

Samsara X Breaker is a 5/16-14 at the regular joint and jump joint
 
I have been making a new line of playing and break/jump cues that uses the 5/16 14 pin and they are monsters or so my customers say.
 
Carolina Customs have some cues with 5/16x14, the first ob cues the j(oss)-line have 5/16x14.

I guess I should clarify.

The shaft I will be getting shipped next week from bdcues. I gave the measurements for the Joss butt I have.

The reason I was curious about Pechauer is because I heard it work but there is a difference in depth of the threads...?

Carolina Custom, being a custom cue maker, will put any joint in you wish...they tend to default to a flat-faced joint; I love 5/16x14 (being old school), so they used one in mine.

The 30" SPTX you made for me in 5/16x14 (for my CC) is indeed a monster shaft. It's totally spoiled me from using anything else, ever.

I'm intrigued by your new line of Earl-like "javelins" with the SPX shafts...are you going to put some up on your website? :D
 
most piloted ss cues use this pin. not all have same pilot size/shape so not all are interchangeable.

That's hard to generalize tho. I ordered the shaft in late November and been juggling the idea of a new butt for it since. Not all ss joints are 5/16-14 and you would be surprised that the cues you thought were, aren't.

Sure, I just mentioned it based on the CC cues I have seen for sale and on their website, mostly 3/8x10 or 5/16x14.

My CC cue has a uni-loc joint by the way:-)

If its a older pechauer they will fit but the newer ones last 6 years or so they are the pechauers quick release thats a modified 5/16x14 the first .250 or so is machined out of the shaft, a pechauer shaft will it a regular
5/16x14 no problem but not the other way unless modified
