Kindly asking for the diameter of the female outer thread on a 5/16x14 joint. Basically the outer thread of the female half of a 5/16x14 joint, which gets screwed and glued into the shaft.

Looks like 7/16x14 coarse thread.

Typically 7/16-4 or 7/16-20, but there are variations.

If you have a caliper and a ruler it is easy enough to measure.

For the 7/16-20 inserts the minor is .390" and .376" for the 7/16-14 variant. I'm not familiar with the insert in the picture. I use the ones that looks like the Uni-Loc insert, so measure twice..
