What do you charge for heated 3 Cushion table?

We are putting in a new heated Soren Sogaard heated carom/ 3 cushion table.
What rates are normal for this type of table. Our regular rates for tables are $1.80 / hour in the day and $3.60 at night. Our current line of thought is just to have a 2 person minimum because single person practicing puts so much wear and tear on a new table. Less "banging and smacking" the balls around because they are bored. Any thoughts from room owners that have heated 3 cushion tables?

Found their website.

Looks like a nice place. $5.95 per hour per person is almost double our current rate. Good starting point I guess. I would love to get those prices for pool. Prolly have to move out of St Louis County and go more upscale tho..lol.

Niced looking rm - so if one of your regular patrons plays a lot of 3-c and wants to get on the table but there is no game for them you don't let them play/practice - most serious 3-c players dont get bored alone practicing 3-c . Banging and smacking???????

Yes we let our players practice. We will just ask them to forfeit the table if someone wants to play a match. Etiquette is rarely a problem with 3 Cushion players.

Banging and smacking- Kids horsing around and just tearing up equipment as opposed to actually trying to make a billiard or play a game. Yes we have them. Lots of them. Most of the general public that come into rooms are just looking to have fun, not actually play pool.

Drexeline alum?

Who are you? I play at Drexeline every now and then so we probably have met...

Move to Hollywood and you can get $10/hr, but a 2000sqft house 15 mins away will run you $1.3M. The grass isnt greener, its a whole different set of numbers. I hope biz has been good for you.

take care,

eric
