What do you do hear?

I still think the best shot was to thin the 8 to play safe behind 9 and make them jump. I'm too lazy to go down and test this one too, but I think a 1/4 ball hit would be good.
 
Thanks everyone. It was certainly risky. At the time I was exhausted. The tournament started at 11:00 AM and this took place around 1:15 AM the next morning. I just didn't see a better answer at the time. If you must make the 8 it just seemed to me that there was more margin for error playing it this way and I knew that I've made this shot plenty of times. To bet the tournament win on it is very questionable though, as you all have indicated, at this point I'm not sure it was the best decision. I know I was real happy when the 8 dropped, at least until I stood back behind the cue ball and looked at that 9 ball shot.

You drilled it tho! that 9 isn't a shot you want to be taking hill-hill every set, but then again, it was better than the one your opponent got. Congrats on the great shots AND the great win.
