I actually bought it about 8 months ago. I liked it. Could jump 'em pretty easy. I broke pretty decent with it. Got in a bind and had to sell my case (with this cue in it) for 80 bucks. Sad sad day. Can't really remember all the details as I only had it for about 3-4 weeks.

the bw seems like a nice cue, but it would annoy me to have to switch shafts for breaking and jumping.

Well there is one of these, and a kc cue included, up on fleabay. I was going to bid on it, but I think it will go too high for me right now. Kinda broke. Think I'm gonna pick up the J&J for now for about 75 bucks and in a month or two, when I'm ready and have the money for my custom and another break. I will buy it. Thanks for the input, and votes, so far and please do keep them coming!!.

I think you made the right decision. I didn't look at the price, but I like the J&J too. I think that BW jump/break is made by Lucasi for BW.

Yeah, I had a chance to use the same exact stick(J&J) first hand the last couple of nights and I do like it. It's just kinda plain, but that's ok. I still ike the BW and will try one when I get the money. Nothing wrong with it being made by Lucasi in my eyes. They are ok production cues.

i also like the bw schmelke j/b cues, for $150 you can get a j/b customized (weight, tip size, joint, length etc.). i like that you can get a 17oz weight, i like my break cues light and it's hard to find a production cue that light.

That model J&J is ok I have crack three of them bye breaking with them.Wish they would put some collars on them.

When you said cracked them, and you want some collars on them, are you talking at the joints? When you break do you bend the shaft like some? My friend has an ear shattering break, and he has yet to crack his. Please elaborate bigpocket, I am very interested in what you have to say. Thanks everybody.

I break hard. I don't bend the shaft to much. I just think that the quality of the J&J cue is not that great. I guess ya get what ya pay for.I got one from them before that just sat and when I looked at it It was already cracked at the joint. Maybe had to do some thing with how they cured there wood. Maybe I just got a bad batch or maybe it my crapy luck. They also need to take the shaft down a little 14mm or 13 1/2mm is too thick in my opinion.:)

I could be wrong but I think it is already 13.5mm shaft. Thanks for your input though. Which models have you seen cracked? The all maple one?

I've never had an issue with my J&J JB. I used it for a couple years before pairing it up with an Adams shaft(original hard moori tip) and now I looove it. The shaft leaves something to be desired but is still good for the money. You put a little bit better shaft on it and you've got a nice setup. But of course that's just my two cents.
