What do you think?

Couple of things.
Now I know that myself and a few members here have not seen eye-eye, but hey such is life. Also I know that some of them/you were wondering who the HELL was this guy? We'll this post would clear that up.

Those of you that might know me (as a result of this post no doubt) know how I am in person, so no worries/sweat off my back.

These are the pics of my new baby. I wanted to share it with you guys, see what you think and get some feed back, also to just put her out there so that everyone know who she belongs to (so-to-say). I think this is a good way to "register" our cues with the community to help prevent theft.

Two shafts, mine maple and one laminate
One ivory "is it safe to say that" ferrule and one old school Palmer ferrule
Made by Mike Morgan Cues

For me, that cue looks to be one of everything mixed together, almost like a sampler of what options you can do. Any one or two of those designs in one cue would be great, ALL of them are a bit messy. It's almost like you could not decide what toppings to put on your ice cream sundae and just put a scoop of everything on it.

I was actually debating posting my opinion because it was negative, but that's what I think. Great design if you look at them one at a time, very messy when all together.

Actually I think most of it is the handle. If it was leather or just black or linen I think the cue would come together more. Or if the handle was the way it was and the rest of the cue was all wood as well with no inlays.

As someone who hasn't seen eye to eye with you in the past, I'd be remiss if I didn't point out what appears to be a low deflection shaft in your pictures, and call you out on your signature. "Why did you spend the money on a Predator shaft, your problem is aiming not deflection?"

As someone who's moved past our little spat I have to say I like the cue, but I agree with hang the 9 regarding the handle. It's too busy. Put a nice leather wrap over it and the cue is beautiful.

I totally understand the views and opinions but here is what I had in mind.

As most would know that's ever had a cue made its hard picking a design sometimes cause you have everything possible running through your mind. Now yo me personally I feel like unless you go all out and get a crazy (in a good way crazy) cue "like some I've seen from samsara" them you're really getting the norm just with a different scheme, kind of like a car, you paint it and put rims, do the interior but it's still the same "car" that has just been custom done. Now take a full blown hot rod and you've got "unique" balls to the wall "unique". Some a gonna like it and some are not but no one can say that it looks like the norm.

So, my vision was preservation, remembrance. So I went with a Palmer style but, Buska top and an array of the materials that can be used in building a cue. Not just for today or as much for myself but for tomorrow, for the none pool part of the public that can see some woods that would be used in making a cue and some features of the greats.

Yes it could of been done different and looked a bit better but still only appeal to the same amount of people, but I got tired of brain storming on a design over the years and went all in. I absolutely love the cue and I'm happy

Make no mistake, it's a nice looking cue. I think you accomplished what you wanted.

Thanks Scott, really appreciate that.

cue hits great btw, just have to get use to the maple shaft vs the pred that i have been playing with on my sneaky pete. Not looking forward to paying another $300 to have a shaft made up "right now anyway" so i'm going to cut down the ferrule on one of them and see how it hits "not looking forward to cutting piece of my ivory also"

Great to see one that doesn't look like the same-old same-old. Nice cue.
And yeah, you'd be hard pressed to steal it and get away with it unless you never carried it in public.
