Does anybody know how you refer to the Mottey cue pictured both on cue-next as pm_05.html and his own gallery 1. The only difference being the grip and the kind of wood used in the cue. It's clearly a Szamboti inspired design.

How often does this cue come up for sale?

Is this the sort of cue that's available at shows?

What is the wood as pictured in Gcue2.jpg?

That is definately my favourite Mottey butt sleeve.

No Real Name

There Is No Real Name, Or Title For The Cue. The One From The Pauls' Site Looks To Be A Six Point Szamboti Style Into Maple, The Cue From The Other Site Is An Eight Point Szamboti Style, Snakewood Into Maple. If You Look Hard Enough You Can Find These Cues Available, Or You Can Order One From Paul Or A Dealer. Try Spanky981, He Can Probably Help You Out. Hope My Reply Helps You Answer Your Questions.

Well then I'd encourage any dealers who have these cues in stock to PM me as I'd like to pick up one of these Szamboti style cues.

Note: I don't like the butt sleeve of the one (White) that recently was $2800 buy it now on Ebay. It's too noisy for my tastes.

My initial impression had been that all these style of cues end up in Japan.

Is that your final answer?!

So you're saying that it's Szamboti like boat and not Szamboti like body?

Like the water-faring craft, I believe.

Its Sam Bowie. I mean, Szam-boaty.

Reminds me of the time someone reported that Kim Davenport's cue was a "Zamboni".
