5/16-14 piloted ivory joint. Not solid ivory but rather ivory over wood.
saw this as a description of a cue
i know what a piloted joint means.
and my understanding of a sleeved joint is really wood (inner ring)/sleeve (outer ring)on one end(joint end) against the base of the shaft.
im still not clear if material of the sleeve affects the hit beyond the wood on wood
any help in clarifying the muddy waters for me would be appreciated
