I've been looking around to find an instructor that have a aiming DVD that is very easy understanding and explaining how and why it work. I want watch who can zoom in a shot and explain what he looking at when shooting at ball and what he doing with his shaft also......when using the shaft what he looking at as he looking at shaft. I bought a dvd year ago and it not very explainable and it doesn't zoom in to show what he doing on the cue ball and his shaft. is there any DVD that is worth buying that can be easy and simple and showing how it work. please let me know. thanks.

The only dvd that covers somewhat of what your looking for is the SVB aiming system. He goes over what parts of his shaft he uses. Even some pretty cool graphics. I have Genes Perfect Aim, Stans CTE/Pro1, CJ's TOI, and Shanes Instructional Series that are out which are the Breaking and Aiming System. Have not got to the SEE System yet but heard it was great.

I think the Perfect Aim video is far better than SVB's. While not simple, the best aiming system by far is CTE/Pro One. Just MHO.

My actual "Aiming System" came out on my first 'Ultimate Pool Secrets'

My actual "Aiming System" came out on my first 'Ultimate Pool Secrets' ( www.cjwiley.com )- this system shows how to connect to either the center or edge of the object ball "CTC or CTE" and make any shot. Once you're down on the shot you can just use the center of the cue ball and of course I favor the Inside of the Cue Ball to cut the Object Ball sightly more.

I've always "aimed" ABOVE the cue ball and once I'm down to shoot 90% of my focus is on hitting the cue ball accurately and precisely for ball pocketing AND control. No matter how well you aim it's still essential to hit the cue ball on target.

I got the Pro one/CTE it so hard to get it down so I gave up on that. I got the Max Eberle serie he was pretty good but he not much on the aiming systems. I saw shane vanboening aiming it was okay but pretty precise to learn to get it down. CJ Wiley, I've been thinking about his dvd serie.

Its a great system. Once you get it down you will love how the cueball floats to the next position.

If you havent used Joe Tuckers The Magic Eye i suggest you get one. Practice with it and you will learn how to fall down on the line of the shot aligned with center cueball. I practice with mine from time to time using the B.A.T. When i feel i pick up bad habits.
