What happened in Louisville??

Well I have to eat some grit [Wife be happy about that]. Thank J.Shovak for clearing this question up! Paul Frankel still ran a great Tournament in KY. Cannot wait for Valley Forge Event!!!!

Dogloose, a little awareness whether by Donating to an Event, USBA, Live Streaming, or just Keeping Information about 3C whether in TX or elsewhere on AZ. Is some other ways

Where are the apologies from the other drama queens who cried "Foul" without due diligence?

Mark. This no Drama Queens, Only a RatF@@Ker. You might want to rethink this comment. Not Call For.

Jim Shovak Comment in Quota, Highlighted in Red is False. Because he got to care about Overall Player Ranking result,

The format, itself, can be criticized, of course. That’s fine. There is always going to be someone who doesn’t like a particular format. You can’t make everyone happy, that’s for sure. But Paul & I wanted to set the record straight. Neither one of us really cared about the overall outcome. Either way, the top 4 finishers were already qualified for the Nationals, so we were both already happy. Sure, it’s great to finish in 1st instead of 4th, but neither Paul nor I had any problems. We are the best of friends.

Drama Queens lol...Is that what we call people who Question anything to do with running of a tournament that is held in the name of the USBA of which I am a member ? Excuses me . I'll go back to being a non participant ..No CROW for me LOL...

I wonder if anyone running a USBA event (tournament director) should also be able to compete in that tournament?

I'm not suggesting anyone would intentionally alter the format for their own self-interest. But it would eliminate the appearance of impropriety.

I'd rather not finger point, name call, or indict an entire organization based on opinion and innuendo.

Anyone can correct me if I am wrong but the UMB prohibits certain positions people hold from playing in tournaments period.

Thoughts?

Steve,

Seeing as this is not the first time I've witnessed something odd, different or ridiculous happening at a tournament under the conditions you have put into question... I want to ask if it is true that even in the USBA constitution there is such a clause addressing that very issue? Let's face it. Had there not been so many discrepancies and issues in the past, this wouldn't even be an issue now. Right?

It is good for all of the members (especially board members) to open there eyes to the several problems the USBA is having and address them so we can come together as a Federation and make our country GREAT for BILLIARDS!
It is well worth our tireless efforts!

I don't know caromcorner,

Let us wait for the SPEAKER of the HOUSE!

Caromcorner and Fox. What would you guys consider the idea 3C Tournament and how its should be run???? I don't play in tournament.

Jim,

You are the smartest person in USBA,

No federation without YOU, ( you know everything ), even if you do mistakes , it's ok , couple of phone calls here and there , & you solve the problem, ( LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED) very strong , I should give you credit for that.

I am not actually criticizing you, but I am giving a CREDIT (which is of course you don't need it)

Billiard SHOT, You don't hear all the shit happening in the tournaments and how some of the respectful USBA directors players talk trash to the others ( when they are loosing the game).NO RESPECT!

That's why nobody from the board should play tournament and GIVE this bad image to the USBA.

Gilbert,

I don't know everything and I make mistakes, just like everybody else. Sometimes I am wrong and when I am wrong, I admit it or apologize. Sometimes I lose my temper, sometimes I get upset, sometimes I say things that I regret. It is all part of being human. I am man-enough to admit when I screw up and I am man-enough to humble myself to apologize or admit mistakes. Isn't that what we are supposed to do?

Or are we just supposed to pretend that we are perfect?

I think the idea is to maintain our composure and not create these instances for which apologies are necessary. You are correct that nobody is perfect but why do we always have to keep suffering through these antics with the follow-up apologies? Can't we just cut the malarkey out in the beginning?
