Thanks for sharing! FYI who determines the tax structure in each district is not necessarily politically motivated. The beauracracy can be controlled by either party or neither one. Showing hatred for the Democratic party is not a good look at this time of division in this country, brought on by a Republican ex-pres who has clearly lost his mind.

Amen to that. I will never open another business in Cali with the prevailing climate. They will bury you in fees, licenses and permits. Not to mention outrageous property taxes. As you know I own a few rental properties. The property taxes have doubled and tripled in the last three years! Two full months of income goes just to pay for all the above. I'd rather own a triple net property (bought my first one last year) or invest in Bonds (treasury or one of many others now paying 6%+). Passive income is the way to go for me from now on.

You are 10000% correct and left many more reasons off the list of why it’s impossible. Point is the world changed and a biz is an obsolete idea. Sad

It’s not political, it’s bigger than that. It’s cultural and human nature not just a belief system ( politics). It’s a much wider problem

I like having my personal freedom and some would (and have already begun) have it removed. Ask a woman if you don't understand what is going on and who is responsible. The divisive rhetoric led us to the dark day of Jan. 6 and to yesterdays assault on Paul Pelosi. I know this is a pool forum but you began this line on here and I will not be silent on this subject. Too much is at stake next month.

Which is exactly what they want. Government does not like to see self sufficient people. That's been the same theme in many countries throughout history.
