Is Limbsaver still around?

What do you think about that? My main interest lies in whether it is really helpful in the break.

Thank you.

Richard

I don't know if they are still around, but I have noticed a difference in vibration with the use of it.

Linda,

So is the difference good or does it feel like you lost something with it?

It is all good. Much less vibration. Sorry, should have been clearer. I have to tell you I was very skeptical when approached to try it. If the ball has already been hit, then how can something on the end of your stick affect deflection and vibration? I don't know how, but it definitely works.

I have a Viking and the attachment given to me by the rep didn't work. Luckily, a friend of mine, Cocomo who also reps it, put the Viking attachment on for me.

Hmmm. Thanks. you are the first person that I know who has actually tried one.

I have been using one for the last 8 months on a Meucci gem cue, it breaks down the vibration going through the cue, so you feel the hit and not the vibration. I break with it all the time, it feels like it's got more power. I like it, some pepole don't. It's a matter of what you like. Yes they are still around.

I have one and have used them before. They definately make a difference. They were originally designed to take the vibration and shock out of a bow, so that the limbs did not crack.
What kind of cue do you want it to fit? I have one that I would sell very cheap, new in package, if you are interested. Feel free to pm me.

Limbsaver

I've played with the Limbsaver for three years and I especially like it on my break cue. Will bring some to the DCC.

I have it on my breaker. I enjoy it very much. It's the second cue I have used it on in about 2 or 3 years. I have used the screw in and the compression fit and have gotten excellent results with both.

Is what way precisely does the Limbsaver help with a player's break?

Also, is it the shape of the design or is it the material, in your opinion, that makes the difference?

Thank you.

Richard
