What Is a Tooled Fellini Case (Sunburst) Worth These Days?

Hi all,

I recently picked up a nice old Fellini case with the tooled sunburst pattern. It also has a name on it which is tooled in small letters on the top of the case. There are no significant dings, tears, etc. The seams are pretty tight. The interior is in good shape and the tag is intact.

I know that tooled Fellinis command a higher price than standards, and a couple of years ago, I would have known what to ask, but in this economy, what should it sell for (ballpark).

I was wondering the same thing because I also have an old tooled Fellini that just needs to be re-dyed somehow.
The case is extra long and in good shape other than the leather fading.
It has Ann Gore tooled at the bottom.

Interesting thread but I hate to just guess.
OK I'll guess over $700.
