Is this thing even going to happen? I know several people that have left phone messages and emails for these people for booth space and they don't even get a reply. Very poorly ran IMO. Butterflycues

they should have a 128 tournament, then a pro/top amateur tournament (ie regional top players joss/jacoby/gsbt etc)

then have an amateur event so as to not get pro's/ road players in the amateur event and get a bigger turnout. They will get more people there to get this event on the road to success and get pool goin again, it could turn people off by having top players in the amateur, who would of played seen this and said well thats made my decision i wont be going now.

It would be nice to play top players and say i played efren etc.. but some people wanna go to the amateur with the dream of being the 1st winner of the event, but we all know in the end the cream will rise to the top.

I think there will be nothing but shortstops, semipros,pros, and some dead money. If the tournament even makes it a second year most of the dead money will be gone unless somebody really classifys this thing correctly....

Are you making the trip to Galveston? You seem a bit interested. How about a link to that video of you shooting with the dropping elbow, not missing much at all? That might inspire a sponsor or two.

The tournament will be what it will be. The television broadcasting is a very positive side of this tournament.

The guaranteed payouts for the top places is an incredible amount of money for both the AMATEURS and the PROFESSIONALS.

I didn't put a number to it but the amateurs have a lot of dough at stake as well as the pros.

That's not the weirdest part at all...
Going fast over the list I saw at least 3 names (pass the 128 spot) that do not qualify to be MAN...

BCA = Billiard Congress of America and yet on the "American" ranking there are so many non Americans.... You will not find any non-European players on the EPBF ranking....

An amateur player is a player that never entered a pro event regardless of how good he is.
