What is Bumping?

Bumping is this someone way of disagreeing with my option on how good or bad a type of cue plays? If so can anyone bump any thread they do not like? Is this A.Z. B. way of sensor our option's? I don't post a lot so I can't understand why people are so thinned skinned. Also I don't believe everything I read on here or anywhere on line. People and companies lie everywhere not all are intended to do harm.

How long have you been on the internet? You don't know what bumping is?
 
Generally speaking, people only bump threads they LIKE.
If we don't like them, we let them fall off the page and die.
 
When a man and woman fall in love, sometimes they'll take off all their clothes and do what is called "bumping."

That's where we get the term, "baby bump."
