What is meant by a "box" cue?

Now by "floating Points", i'm guessing that means when they dont butt up to the wrap on the forearm?? So would this cue be considered floating points??? They are not exactly points or boxes.

Floating points....

Furthermore, imo.....if a cue has sharp points or floating points (and no floating box inlay designs), even if it has 'boxes' or 'windows' in the butt sleeve, it is technically not a 'box cue'. You gotta have the boxes above the wrap and below the wrap. Just my opinion, but this is also pretty broadly accepted terminology within the industry. :)

Having had a Viking Window cue as my first custom I'm partial to that design variety
