I haven’t much experience with Fargo but I really like the different threads and the posts you have contributed with.

Some questions

Do you add tournaments from all over the world, or how is the selection prosess?

I noticed suddenly that at my fargo a regional event in Norway got added.

Is there a way that you can calculate your own «fargoperformance» for one particular event?

They add in whatever data is sent to them, with a bit of a reality check for honest data so some idiot is not trying to enter fake matches to lower their rating.

Fargo rating is easy to figure out, see who you won or lost to, and by how much, look at their rating. If they are a 500 and you beat them 10-5, you are playing at a 600 level. If you lose 5-10, you are playing at a 400 level. If neither of you have a rating, then you have to go by known ability and estimate the Fargo rating that way.

If you want to know how good you played period, no matter the opponent, Fargo is not the best system to use, you would use the TPA rating that AccuStats uses which is shots 1.000 - (mistakes + misses divided by shots taken). Mistakes are things like failed kick, position error, scratch on the break. So if you took 80 shots, made 8 total errors, you are at .900, pro level of play. TPA is good to use if you want outright data not compared to any other player starting from a 0 data point. To use Fargo you need to establish some baseline of play skill, TPA you don't.

Found this searching the forum here: http://www.tckerrigan.com/Misc/Fargo/
More info in the thread:
Someone was sharing a spreadsheet around, but I didn't find it with a cursory search.
