can someone help me identify the joint type of this cue?

I thought so but not sure.I have had this cue for around 10 years.May be want to get a shaft for it.

Looks like 5/16-18. But I have seen metric jointed cues from Germany that look the same & are totally different.

If you want to make sure that it is a 5-16/18 go to the hardware store and buy an inexpensive 5-16/18 bolt. Take it home and see if the threads match.

...better still, carry the cue to your local Auto Zone (or similar store). they have most normal sae and metric sizes on a wire/string. simply find the one that screws on your stick.
