What is the most important thing in your shop?

My wife!!! Without her My shop is always filthy!!! Also, without her positive atta boy tolerance of my hobby she is my backbone and ultimate cheer leader... I couldn't do it without her!!! for that I am always grateful.

Maybe the question would have been better asked,
What should be treated as the most important thing in your shop?
The customers would probably be the correct answer for most shops then.
 
Well unless you a Goverment agency funded by Taxes, etc. You do not need customer, or clients. Wonder how long th local Walmart would keep it's doors open in no one came to purchase the items they sell? My guess the bean counters in Bentonville, Arkansas would look at the numbers. Then shut the store down in 90 days or less on negative sales v/s cost of keeping open.

No business can operate long with out customers, Covid 19 is proof of that, Govenment shut down have forced many small business to close, and most will never reopen.

Duh! The Covid 19 has proven, there is no business when businesses are shut down . Before you can have customers, you have to be open first .
 
Well Joey it makes sense you can have the best business model, best product, best location, but if people do not buy what your selling you not going to survive.

Or if you have no customers, your history. BTW you still have your security blanket of real job, real pay check?

Why not go build Cues Full Time to show how it done.

You came into Ask the Cuemaker forum and asked a question of the Cuemakers. They have answered overwhelmingly that it is the 'Cuemaker'! Just because the answer doesn't match your preconceived notions....doesn't mean they are wrong, so stop beating your incorrect drum and please move on. There are 4 pages of Cuemakers saying you are wrong, it's been explained many different ways, and yet you still argue. Please stop arguing here in this section. If you want to keep going and arguing your baseless point, please move the conversation to the Main forum section. Question was asked and ANSWERED.

Nobody is saying the customers are not needed .
There are no customers if your doors are shut and there is no maker.
Duh!
Why don't you make cues then show us how it's done since you know more about cue makers?

Can I ask what your trying to accomplish with these posts and how it's related to cue making?
If you have something to share, please do. Guessing games and pedantic replies where your not really engaging in dialogue is just tiring in the end.

Like I said market is flooded, how many Cuebuilders have quit because there were doing it, and could not make a go of it. MANY.

Many people who have products flounder for years trying to establish a market for there product. The famous Kentucky Col. Harlin Sander's was old man before he made it. How many other had product, or invention that just never did anything but create red ink? I would guess 100 for everyone who had sucess.

John Hagger made a great Cue Extension, if you had 10 used ones they would be gone in a day if posted for sale at fair price. How come the company disappeared?

BTW where here I live I have rules against operations any commercial venture out of my home.

I have my Cues, need no more. Still think the customer, client, etc., is most important person in every business. Sorry if you do not agree with my thinging, but it just my opinion.

Thirty years of self employment would not have been possible without clients, & customers.

Actually the flying Car has been worked on for 20 Plus Years by Dr. (PHd) Paul Moller in Davis, CA. His company is Moller International. Seen it fly already, was not impressed with idea. Lots of U-Tubes of him just trying to get his envention to market.

Like I said I just shared my opinion that Customer is most important thing in business. Now you Cretins do you name calling. Shows you level of class. Can not rebut message, so you attach messenger.

Well I have found in life people call other people names when they disagree with them.

Seem not to have no logical rebuttal to a persons statements, or ideas. Enter Maxine Waters as example.

If we all had same likes, dislikes, life would be simple.

We would all drive black Fords, as color choices, and other brand would not be needed.

The internet has remove person to person communication. Words do not have body language, or facial expression attached.
