What is the right thing to do?

I use the POW MIA logo in my Avatar to honor in remembrance those men and women and hope that everyday Americans when they see the logo will take pause even if only for a moment and think about the price of war before squawking that we need to go kick someone else's a**.

My opium pipe dream is that the president, his cabinet and all of congress will be required to send their first born child to fight in any war that our country takes part in and if they have no children of age, then their sibling's children and so on.

JoeyA (not against all wars, but kind of like VIProfessor with the DP, I want to see equality spread around a bit more.)

Put yourself in the other guys shoes. If my opponent warned me that I was shooting the wrong ball, I might just be a purist enough to concede the rack. After all, I SHOULD have lost the game due to a concentration lapse. How could I feel good about a winning a tournament that required my opponents assistance. I would appreciate my opponent calling foul on me, and giving me the opportunity to overcome the deficit that I rightfully aquired. If it is hill-hill, then I will consider it a choke, which it is. (This is the DEFINITION of a mental error- a routine process going haywire due to mishandling pressure)

Maybe this choke would force me to look at what it was that drove me to a mental state so ineffective that I shoot the wrong ball. Maybe by reflecting on my emotional state throughout the match I could grow as a player.

Because this is what I would want for myself, it is what I would do for my opponent. I AM DOING THEM THE SERVICE OF LETTING THEM PLAY THEIR GAME. It has nothing to do with needing a win so bad that I will cheat to get it. I am just playing a pure game of pool...........
 
heres the way i see it. if im the one shooting then im supposed to be paying attention to the balls on the table that are left and if im so incompetent to not see a ball left i dont deserve to win.its not my opponents place to tell me anything.
