I am having a cue built. This is the type of buttcap I am wanting...what is it called? Thanks for your help in advance....and sorry, this may me in wrong forum.

Laminated wood cut on a angle. OB shaft

Its the laminate wood ferrule of the new OB-1 low deflection shafts. The brown phenolic is used in some break/jump ferrules. You most likely wouldn't use it on a playing cue ferrule.

just to be politically correct, the butt is canvas phenolic brown, ask your cue maker he will know exactly what it is.
