I like painting poisons on or very low pressure spray. Keep them out of the air as much as possible.
A funny thing considering how long DDT has been outlawed, I think I have the right poison, made bald eagle eggs thin then the talons punched through the eggs. Now eagles curl their talons under to walk around on the nest. Looks butt awkward but that is a big part of why we have bald eagles today.
They used to spray huge clouds of DDT I think it was in the subdivisions. Us kids thought it was cool to run around and play in it and few parents objected. Mine wouldn't let us play in it long but with all the other kids playing in it hard to tell us not to. Haven't thought about it in years. COPD when I have never been a smoker, those poisons might have played a part!
