Meucci HOF5--retail $690

You can search for discounts online. The cue is still produced by Meucci. It is the Hall of Fame (HOF) 5 and retails for $690 with 2 shafts.

I am not a big fan of Meucci, but I think I may want to get my wife this cue to get her involved in pool.

What is a good price???

Thanks for any feedback.

I would guess that the price is about right. It is a pretty cue and would probably get you many bonus points. It would also probably hold its value if kept nice. I just don't know if you buy something for $500 to try and get someone interested in pool. Maybe to keep them interested. Absolutely JMO. How about this one for $100?

If you are looking to purchase that particular cue let me know I can sell it to you quiet a bit cheaper than what he's asking for it on ebay. Its brand new never chalked with 2 shafts. If interested please contact me via PM or email at spankysbilliards@hotmail.com for a price cheaper than whats on ebay.

Thanks, Mark

Spending $500 on a "new" Meucci these days is like playing Russian roulette.
McDermott however makes a similar cue for a lot less and has a warranty! Unlike the warped shafts you will most likely get with a Meucci at present time.:(

Think she needs better than a Meucci, why not a Nice Viking, Lucasi, or McDermoth?

Is it still Russian Roulette if there are 5 bullets in the chambers? :D

I would go with a McDermott. Meucci quality now a days is worse then it was 10 yrs ago. Use to you could just feel the inlays. Now they feel like they are going to pop right out with one good hit. The best cue (sneaky pete) they had they stop making. I saw a Meucci gambler at a shop and that thing was horrible. I know a Billiard shop that doesn't even carry them any more. If someone wants one they just order that one cue. N E way.. JMHO
