So, it's getting cold up here in PA, and I am starting to hit balls again like an old itch you just can never scratch!

I had a fun summer of golf.....and getting down to a 4 handicap, and I got back into fishing.....and caught a 6.8lb largemouth bass....BTW is BIG in PA!

Also building the plumbing biz with help from a fellow AZ'r.

ANYWAY....how are you all doing?...whats going on in the pool world?...I always love this time of year when I am freezing my butt off and can catch up with all you guys!

lemme know whats up!

G.,

Well, it's about damn time you were getting back here. Your work is piling up.
Floors need to be swept. Trash cans emptied.
Quit farting around and get to it.

Welcome back, Gerry! You really didn't miss much on the AZB forum, LOL.

I'm guessing his boat.

beat me to it Paulie!

It was at Greenlane resevoire and got him on a Gulp alive crawdad......Texas rigged. Also got a 5.5lb there the week before on a Rapala split minnow.

Its a huge 900 acre lake about 10 minutes from my house. The only bummer is you can only use electric motors.

Nice! There were several lakes like that in Oklahoma when i lived there, at least it keeps the recreational skiers and yahoos off the lake while you are trying to fish.
Welcome back BTW.

He did miss the new 8 ball guide lol.

Congrats to the OP on the "lunker". Not a bad catch at all. I'm not familiar with the sizes of large mouth bass up this way. But I do know that they tend to run a little smaller the farther north they are as opposed to my home state or in the south.

Still all in all it was a good catch!!

Nice catch, always wanted to hit Green Lane when I lived up in Kresgeville.

Shame the golf season is winding down up there, one of my favorite courses was always Old Homestead in New Tripoli. Still have it written that some of my ashes will be spread on the teebox of #16. Started playing it back in '92 - '93 when it was a nine hole course. Always loved the BBQ sandwich on the deck, looking out onto #9.

What was the question?

Welcome back,
You can keep the cold weather though! How goes it with you and the family?
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Oh sure, soon as the weather changes and you can't go out and shoot 70's golf or relax fishing, we're your friends again.

Some pal.

Just kidding...4 handicap is pretty sporty; that's some quality golf. Nothing like being outdoors on a nice course or lake.
