What is your Favorite Tip flavor at the moment

Hello ,

I post this every once in a while. I was curious as to what tip you are currently into and what you like about it. I have used Triangle for the last few years but an having a Kamui black clear pad installed this go around. I don’t get out very often and wanted to see what the current favorite is at the moment. Thanks
I install medium ultraskin on all the cues I build. My customers love them. I like the consistency of the way they machine. Best tip for the money. Roger

I had the cue repair guy put a new tip on one of the extra shafts I have at our last tri-cup. He suggested a Kamui soft, so I went with that. My other shafts have a Predator Victory Soft, and the stock shaft from my cue has a LePro. I find that I miscue much less using that Kamui than with either of the other two. For that reason, I'll be using the Kamui soft for a while.

Kamui Black Clear medium. Still using the same tip for over two years. Other than an occasional scuff and burnish it’s virtually maintenance free and doesn’t seem to wear much. Over time it’s become slightly harder, but I like the way it hits even more.

Tried the market hype of all tips, always triangle for the coin. On the go for layered tips i like the old Morri tips. Which are still in the making my understanding now as of good ones.

Wizard medium.

Something like six bucks each. I don’t mind paying more if I find something better, but I like this one as well, or better than all the $25+ tips I’ve tried…

Definitely subjective topic, but interesting to see what people like or dislike. Case in point, many people like Kamui, but I did not like that tip at all.

I am using a Thoroughbred Med. Very nice playing tip that holds up well. I just installed a White Diamond break tip to try out, and so far I like it better than the Pechauer tip it came with.

I have been putting Triangles on the house cues where we play and they play very nice. Of course I always prefer to use my cue, but if chance has me drop by I don't stress about having to use a house cue.

Precision tips by Dennis Searing. My preference is the hard. Plays more like a medium/hard. I am going to do some experimenting with the medium.

English pool player here. Tried out Elk Pros which I really liked, but I've moved onto ADR147s. Heard rave reviews about them on TSF.

I've really enjoyed le pro tips then I tried milk duds until a friend convinced me to try a techno dud which I like equally as well .
I've played with Pechauer with a Rouge shaft and emerald green tip that is quite enjoyable also !
Depending on the day and how I feel dictates which is my favorite tip .

Ki-tech hard. It’s like a water Buffalo dud. I’m done looking.
Damn I wish I had seent this earlier. I just ordered a couple techno duds to see what they’re all about.

My favorite tip so far has been the water Buffalo. Supposedly extra hard but they were beautiful for me. I started thinking it was maybe just the one piece tip feel that I liked (I’ve only ever had layered tips until the trying the WB).

Every layered tip I’ve tried I have not liked. I guess this ki-tech is on the list. I’ll do a techno on my 314 and a ki on the cynergy. I haven’t found a tip I like on the cyn yet.
