On ebony points into birdseye, four veneers. What is the most appealing combination of colors to you? I'm thinking--inside to out--maple, red, blue, black. What do you guys like?

I too have this same curiosity, I made a post requesting a way to see this before placing an order for a custom cue. I want to know that my colors will look good together before the cue is actually built.crawdaddio said:On ebony points into birdseye, four veneers. Celtic said:I would go from the birdeye inward Ebony, Maple, Ebony, Maple. With 4 veneers that means you would have the black ebony on the edge of the birdeye and the ebony point would be bordered with maple. Then the middle would alternate those same colors of white-ish wood and black. It would look alot more classic using just those 2 colors then going multicolored.

Do you have any pics of that combo? Sounds nice but I can't visualize it.
Thanks,
