Regarding this picture of Ginacues.

18la4.jpg

The Cue in the middle (18C) has an awesome kind of wood.
In the description of Ernies Catalogue it says Birds eye Maple.

But the color if this wood is so much brighter than maple usual is. Also look at the Cues to the left for example which are birds eye maple too.

Does anybody have some information on that.
many thx

P.S. I hope this is not a dumb question, but i have not seen this bright stain of BEM

Frst of all you need a better pic.. But from what I can see from the picture it looks like a curly maple to me.. It could be birdseye you just cant tell from the picture.. As for the color some maple is just brighter and whiter that other maple or it even could be the sealer that he used when the cue was made..

Looks like the one in the middle is natural and the one to the left has a stain.

Looks like normal maple to me. The two cues on the left have been stained.
Also the picture is a little overexposed which makes everything brighter.
