I'd like to thank you all for your input. I realize that many of you thought that the poll had too few choices, but I had my reasons for being vague. No matter how specific I had tried to be, I was sure someone would have found something I had missed. Keeping it simple forces you to give more input than simply submitting your vote. I not only wanted to know what you used, but what you liked and didn't like about the different options out there. I do appreciate your time, effort and knowledge.

Delta 13

Delta 13 is a decent rack,I get the same results from plastic or wood ,in my opinion Delta 13s are over priced, and very noisy..

I just popped for a two pack Magic Rack since I had some Seybert bucks to blow. We'll see. I have noticed them being used on YouTube in some pretty prestigious matches...

Gorilla tournament edition solid oak.One of the best constructed wood racks I have ever used and the weight is very light compared to some.

The Delta 13 is a great rack, just make sure you line it for the noise.

I didn't vote because it is not categorized.

I use the Delta also but since the OP said the third choice was for everything other than wood or plastic I voted for mechanical. Not sure that's what was intended but I was just following instructions, lol.

I just got the leather inserts today and wow, what a difference! They should really be standard equipment on the Delta.

I also have the MR handy as well as the Slug Doctor. I like the SD better between the two but probably use the MR more only because I mainly play straight pool and practice 8 Ball for league so the Delta gets the call most of the time.

$20 is steep

You wont be disappointed it racks them tightly,, it's the best for tight racks. However it does take a little extra time to set the rack.. $20 is probably $5-$10 over priced, for what it is(thin sheet of plastic), but as I stated initially ,it does work well..

I have large well made wood rack. Very easy to handle. It produces a very tight rack. Just bought a Delta 13(VegasGold). It is awesome physically & visually....but the wood rack racks tighter.
