What kind of table is this?

I'm looking at this table later today and I wanted to have an idea what I was looking at. The owner says it is an Anniversary but the aprons and legs seem to be the wrong color. Any ideas?

Thanks. Just got back from looking at it. It's been sitting in the same place for 30 years. Everything looks in tact, the slate looks perfect. Obviously painted and missing the bands around the base. Rosewood rails. I think a good buy for $250. I'll be checking the other threads for advise on restoring.

I was going to look at this on the weekend. From the photos I've seen it's worth the price. Just check for any water damage from the stain on the cloth. I have Brunswick now. If I didn't, I'd get this. Look at it as an investment.

Actually, if the table doesn't have the side pocket castings either, then it never came with the bands to begin with and is a very old Anniversary. Nice find!

That's an interesting observation and it makes sense. There were no castings on the side pockets and the legs had a 3in strip of wood around them in place of the aluminum bands.

Does anyone have any pictures of what this would have looked like originally? I'd like a target image for the restore.

@javi2 - Sorry I beat you out on this one. I feel lucky.

Dr2000,
Don't sweat it. I could have had this table when it first went up . I spoke with the seller and got pictures, but like I said I've got a Brunswick already and I'd have to sell mine first, ect..................good luck with it. Post some pictures when it's all done.
